Taft Timeline
A sometimes lighthearted look at events in the school's history...
Many interesting things have happened at Taft since the founder first opened the school in 1890. What we have assembled here are a few highlights, items that may or may not have made the formal history, but each helps tell the ongoing story of our school. Given Taft's unique legacy of only five headmasters in nearly 120 years, we thought it fitting to identify eras by their names, so feel free to drag the bar above to the decades that most interest you.
